What type of test is this?

The Curexa COVID-19 self-collection kit is a molecular test, also known as a reverse polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT). This test detects the presence or absence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

When will I get my result?

The kit comes with a proirity next day shipping FedEx return label and the sample will be processed in few hours appon arrival at the lab.

Does this test detect the variants?

The sensitivity of our PCR test is not impacted by the following known variants.

Who pays for testing?

If you have insurance coverage, most insurance companies cover the cost of your test, the  payment will be treated as a payment in full, based on current regulations under the CARES Act and FFCRA. You can also pay for the test out of pocket.
